Decorreu no passado sábado dia 11 de fevereiro no Pavilhão Municipal da Costa da Caparica o Estágio Nacional de Karate orientado pelo Instutor Chefe Nacional Sensei Jorge Monteiro. Numa manhã inteiramente dedicada ao treino das Katas Sanseru e Shisochin houve ainda tempo para a bunkai e ippon kumite base.
Durante a entrega dos diplomas de DAN, o Sensei Jorge Monteiro lembrou que alcançar a graduação de cinto negro não deve ser comparado a terminar um curso porque à medida que o karateca sobe na graduação a exigência e o foco no detalhe aumenta. O Instrutor Chefe Nacional fez ainda os presentes refletir no contributo destes estágios na uniformização do Goju-Ryu em Portugal e na importância dos momentos de convívio entre karatecas oriundos de todo o país que estes eventos proporcionam.
O período da tarde foi focado no Kakie e nos exames de graduação. A atividade da IOGKF Portugal (APOGK) prossegue no próximo sábado dia 18 na cidade de Chaves.
